Actual High School Sucks…
But High School Movies are Fun!
School Daze is my first-ever game. I came up with the idea for it on a drive back to Ohio from visiting friends in Kansas City. The whole idea flowed really well, and before I knew it, I was planning a Kickstarter. I had very little idea what I was doing, but I was really happy with the end result. I was also lucky enough to be honored with a Judges’ Spotlight ENnie for School Daze in 2013.
School Daze is rules-light and really easy to play. All you need is a single d6 and an idea of how typical high school movies and television shows go. The game hangs its hat on those tropes. Knowing when the bully should get punched, or when the nerdy people will realize their own self-worth all feeds into how these game progress. It’s perfect for new players, and especially good for first-time gamemasters.

School Daze: Honor Roll is a set of guidelines for hacking and extending what School Daze can do. If you want to play in your own alternate setting, take the Simple Six system and use it for other games, or play School Daze with the Fate Accelerated rules, this add-on if just for you. You can pick up Honor Roll from either of the places mentioned above.
